1812

1829

Henry Shaw, the first pioneer in the area, settles in Henry Township.

1834

Beeson Gristmill is established along Rocky Ford Creek, north of East Broadway.

1836

Henry Township is organized and named using the given name of the first settler, Henry Shaw.
